Located west of Argentina, this region is recognized worldwide as an ideal area for the development of the Muscat of Alexandria, introduced by the Spanish conquerors 500 years ago. The valleys of San Juan host the 78% of the total production of Moscato in Argentina, including: Ullum, Iglesia, Valle Fértil, etc. The «Valle del Tulum» insures more than 300 days of full sun, a large temperature range, and a climate of low rainfall and dry air. Here is where Ángel Negro came from: 650 meters above sea level, an area bounded by the «pre-cordillera». Our production is harvested in loam and well drained clay, fused to high irradiance of the province, helps our grapes to achive an optimum ripeness and a great concentration of aromas and color.
Ángel Negro belongs to San Juan and brings us the best of this land, a natural sweet wine, with a tradition, a history and a promising future. In times in which technology, virtual and communications seem to grab everyone’s attention, Moscato is proof that despite the changes, the essential remains.
